1. Introduction

Lumevo Lab ("we", "us", "our") operates the mobile application Memiq ("the App"). This policy informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have regarding such data.

We only process the limited information described in this policy to operate the App. By using the App, you accept this approach.

2. Data Collection

In practice we keep very little on our servers. Apart from the limited items below, we do not build profiles, and we do not link what we store to your email address or to a user account on our side.

Email, username and sign-in

We do not save or store your email address (if you provide one), your username or nickname, or authentication-related information (Google, Apple ID, or guest mode). None of this data is retained on our systems.

Limited data we store on our servers

The only server-side data we intentionally keep is:

• Online multiplayer (two players on different devices): temporary session information needed to match and run a live game together. This is not tied to your email or to an account on our side.
• Leaderboard: your best game times (or equivalent scores) so that other users can see rankings. This is not linked to your email or to an account on our side.

Firebase (Google)

We use Google Firebase as the backend that powers the online multiplayer sessions and leaderboard data described above. Google's handling of data is described in their documentation and privacy policy. We do not use Firebase to store your email, username, or sign-in credentials on our behalf.

• Content of your support communication
• Email address for response

3. Use of Your Data

We use the limited data described in this policy to:

• Run online multiplayer between two devices (session data only, as described above)
• Show leaderboard rankings based on best times (or equivalent scores)
• Provide and maintain the App
• Send push notifications only if you allow them (e.g. about challenges or results)
• Respond when you contact support
• Comply with legal requirements

4. Data Sharing

Third-Party Services

We share your data with the following services:

• Google Firebase: Processes the multiplayer session and leaderboard data described in Section 2. See also Firebase / Google privacy.
• Apple: When you use the App through the App Store or Apple device features, Apple's terms and privacy policy may apply to how Apple processes information on its platforms. Apple Privacy Policy

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent or disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing networks.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose your data if required by law, by a court or by a government authority to protect our legal rights or public safety.

5. Data Security

Your data security is important to us. We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
